Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1 - Madrid - Aswan - Nile Cruise - Dinner

We depart from Madrid on a special flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, we will transfer directly to the boat and enjoy a picnic dinner in the cabin. Overnight on board the cruise.

Day 2

Day 2 - Aswan - Kom Ombo - Edfu - Nile Cruise - Full Board

After breakfast, we will have the possibility of taking the optional excursion to the temples of Abu Simbel, a complex made up of 2 temples, one dedicated to Ramses II and the other to Nefertari, his first and favorite wife. Then return to Aswan. Later, visit to the Temple of Philae, dedicated to Isis, goddess of love and considered one of the most beautiful and best-preserved temples in the country. Located on a small island. We continue our journey sailing towards Kom Ombo to visit its temple at sunset. It worships Sobek, a god with a crocodile head and human body. To end the day, we continue sailing towards Edfu. Lunch and dinner on board the cruise.

Day 3

Day 3 - Edfu - Esna - Luxor - Nile Cruise - Full Board

After breakfast, our first stop will be the temple of Edfu; dedicated to the God Horus, it is the second largest temple in Egypt, only surpassed by the temple of Amun-Ra in Karnak, and one of the best preserved in the country. We will return to the boat to head towards Esna. After passing through the lock (a construction that allows boats to adapt to an 8-meter difference in level when passing through a dam), arrival in Luxor. Depending on the boat sailing schedule, visits may be made in the afternoon. Lunch and dinner on board.

Day 4

Day 4 - Luxor - Cairo - Domestic Flight - Breakfast and Lunch

Breakfast and check - out at 8.00 hours. Our first stop will take us to the burial place of the famous Valley of the Kings and the Necropolis of Thebes. In this place is the famous tomb of Tutankhamun. Later, we will visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, dedicated to the only woman who reigned in Egypt and, as a curiosity, left herself a beard to look like a pharaoh. Then, we will see the Deir El Bahari temple and the impressive Colossi of Memnon. We continue the tour and arrive at the second most visited place by tourists in Egypt, the religious complex of Karnak and its temples, which is one of the places of greatest historical value in Egypt. This is due to the way they were built, starting with the central sanctuary and then the outer areas. Because the temple of Luxor is dedicated to the God Amun-Ra, god of creation and the sun, many pharaohs expanded the temple with new monuments to honor the main god of the Egyptian pantheon. After this unmissable visit we will be transferred to the airport, to take the flight to Cairo, arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 5

Day 5 - Cairo - Pyramids of Giza - Accommodation and Breakfast

We will start the day with breakfast and the first scheduled visit is the enclosure of the Pyramids of Cheops, Kefren and Mykerinos. It is the main tourist attraction of the country and one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. After the visit to the pyramids we will approach the famous Sphinx created by Pharaoh Kefren. It is a sculpture with a lion body and human head, whose task was to guard the funerary enclosure of the pyramids as well as being a symbol of royalty. Once the visit to the Giza funerary complex is finished, end of the excursion and return to the hotel. Possibility of booking the excursion to the museum, Coptic Quarter and Khalili market.

Day 6

Day 6 - Cairo - Bahariya Oasis - White Desert - Full Board

After Buffet or Picnic breakfast according to schedule, departure by road towards the Western Desert. Arrival in Bawity, the main town of the Bahariya Oasis. Here we will change vehicle to continue in 4X4 to the White Desert. We will stop for lunch in the small Heiz Oasis, where we can bathe in one of the sulphurous and hot water springs.
