Excursion Details
Located near Aswan, a visit to the Nubian Village is a journey back in time, offering a glimpse into the traditional way of life of an ancient culture that flourished in southern Egypt.
We will enjoy a boat ride along the Nile River to reach one of the most charming villages on its banks, making a stop along the way at one of the Nile’s natural beaches, where the more adventurous may take a swim in its waters (local legends say it brings good luck).
Upon arrival at the Nubian Village, we will explore its colorful bazaar and discover its traditional houses with open courtyards. Guests will also experience the renowned Nubian hospitality while tasting locally made cheeses and traditional tea, both handcrafted specialties of the region.
