Day 3: Abu Dhabi - Qasr Al Watan (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Full-day Abu Dhabi tour in Spanish. Abu Dhabi is Dubai's neighboring emirate and the capital of the United Arab Emirates, approximately two hours by road from Dubai. Drive past Jebel Ali, the largest man-made port in the world. Continue across Al Maqta Bridge through one of Abu Dhabi's most exclusive areas, the Ministers' Area. Visit Sheikh Zayed Mosque, known as the Grand Mosque, the third largest mosque in the world and the resting place of the late Sheikh Zayed. Continue to Al Bateen, where the Royal Family palaces are located. Then follow in the footsteps of world leaders and dignitaries as you explore Qasr Al Watan (entrance included), a remarkable expression of Emirati royal art and heritage. Admire every detail of this Abu Dhabi landmark, from its granite and limestone facade to more than 5,000 carefully crafted geometric patterns and huge doors made with 23-carat French gold. Stop for an international lunch at a 5-star hotel restaurant. Photo stop in front of Emirates Palace, one of the world's most expensive hotels to build, decorated with gold and marble. Later, enjoy a short shopping stop at a handicraft gallery. Continue to the Corniche waterfront, often compared with Manhattan for its impressive skyline.
